CELEBRATION BEGINS- DRY FRUIT LADDU
The Title is very apt for the occasion and i am going to share many sweet delights with you all!!

DRY FRUIT LADDU

Dates-1 and 1/2 cup (de seeded and chopped)
Pista- 1 cup (chopped & toasted)
Almonds- 1 cup (chopped & toasted)
Cashew nuts- 1/2 cup (chopped)
Sweetened coconut- 2 tbsp (dessicated)
Ghee/ clarified butter- 2 -3 tsps
Sugar- 2-3 tbsps
Honey-2 tsps (optional)
Elachi powder-1 tsp (optional)
Dry roast chopped Pista and Almonds separately and keep them aside. Heat pan on low flame, now add sugar and 1 tbsp of water and stir. Once you get sugar syrup add chopped dates. After 10 mins add chopped nuts and Elachi Powder. Cook for 2-3 mins. Meanwhile grease a plate with ghee and transfer this laddu mixture. Allow this mixture to cool, add honey to this mixture and mix well and now grease your palm with ghee and shape this mixture into golf size balls.Store it in a air tight container.
Note-Adjust sugar and honey according to your taste.
